KINGAN, George Thomas

George Thomas Kingan died
at his home near Guion on Thursday afternoon of last week after being
ill three weeks with kidney trouble. Funeral services at the ME Church
on Saturday morning were conducted by Rev. JE Stone. Interment at Maple
Ridge. He was born in Ohio Dec 9, 1847. He married Mary Matilda Moore
May 15, 1873, who survives him. They had no children.  He has one
brother, Frank Kingan of Attica, and one sister, Mrs. DB Mason of Des
Moines, Iowa. He was a member of the local lodge IOOF which attended the
funeal in a body.  Those from a distance attending the funeral were John
A. Mo ore, Mrs. Olive Lewis, Miss Ruth Moore, Mrs. Roy Shaw of
Crawfordsville; Mrs. Howard Charters of New Market and Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Kingan of Attica - typed by kbz.
